What it is

Kancha Bounce is a bounce-and-pop game made for Khel ON. A kancha, the glass marble every child in India has flicked, bounces around a wall of painted rangoli tiles. Slide your wooden board to keep it in play. Every tile the marble touches pops in a puff of colour, and when the last tile is gone the wall is clear.

There are fifteen walls to clear, from Sunrise Rows and Kite Day to Temple Gate and the Grand Mela. Easy gives a slow marble, a wide board and five marbles, so the youngest players can clear walls too. A one-minute guided game shows every move. You earn stars, best scores and badges, and there is no betting.

How to play

  1. Slide the board

    Drag anywhere on the screen to slide your board left and right. Your finger never has to cover it. On a computer use the mouse or the arrow keys.

  2. Launch and aim

    Tap to send the marble flying. Hit it with the middle of the board to send it straight up, with an edge to send it sideways.

  3. Pop the tiles

    Plain tiles pop in one hit, shiny tiles in two and stone tiles in three. Brass tiles never break. Pop tiles one after another for a streak and bonus points.

  4. Catch the gifts

    Some tiles drop a gift: a wide board, a slow marble, three marbles at once, a sticky board that catches the marble, or an extra marble. Clear a wall without losing a marble for three stars.

Ways to play

Walls

Fifteen walls with up to three stars each. Clear a wall to open the next one, on Easy, Normal or Hard.

Race the computer

You and the computer each get the same wall. The first to pop every tile wins. Easy is gentle, Normal is steady, Hard is quick.

Take turns

2 to 4 players pass one phone. Everyone plays the same wall once and the best score wins.
