What it is
Haveli Escape is an escape game for families and friends. There are six places to escape from: three painted havelis (Kesar Haveli, Neel Haveli and Moti Haveli) and three great forts (Suraj Qila, Megh Qila and Chandra Qila). Each has three rooms, and every room has three locks. Open all three and the door swings open.
The locks and clues are new every time you play. Play together on one screen and everyone sees every clue. Play online with 2 to 6 friends and each player can read only some of the clues, so you have to tell each other what you see. If you’re not in the same room, have a phone or video call going while you play.

How to play
Look around the room
Tap anything to look closer: paintings, scrolls, charts, a map. Some are locks, some are clues.
Crack the locks
An iron tijori with number wheels, a door with picture wheels, coloured lamps, brass levers, a locked chest, temple bells and a garden maze. Each one needs the clues around it.
Talk to your team
Online, a clue with your colour is yours. Tell the others what it shows. Point at things and send quick phrases like “I have a clue for that one”.
Escape!
When all three locks in a room are open, go through the door. Get through three rooms and you’re out. Fast escapes with few hints earn three stars.

Hints
Every lock has two hints. Each hint adds one minute to your time.
Online play
The host picks the place and sends a link. Everyone gets a fun name; there are no accounts, no typed chat and no photos. The table is deleted when the host closes it.
Pause and come back
On one screen the escape is saved on your device. Pick “Continue your escape” to carry on later.
